Venice of China

School's pretty much ready to go. I'll send some pictures of our customs when some China buddies upload some photos. Kate and I (the language folks) are still writing our interview questions to place villagers into language levels and classes, but we'll do that on the bus to the Venice of China. More on that later. We are taking a day off of work and a 2 hour bus ride to this little village the Chinese call the "Venice of China."

Oooh, the Venice of China. Sounds great! That would be really ironic if you heard a bunch of medical students walking around singing.."Doctora, doctora.......". Remember??? Ha ha. Hope it was fun.

Sounds like a lot packed into a small amount of time. Glad to hear you are getting some time off work (and that your neck seems to have healed). My life is not as interesting. Working and then spending weekends doing more work. This weekend it was of the "non-law variety" -painted the trim on the house. I forgot how scary it is since the trim goes quite high. Was very hot and humid today, but probably still cooler than there! Enjoy the Venice of China. Looking forward to hearing about it. Evon
